- Don’t just read but write too! By writing I do not mean you write one script per day or a twelve page article on film making on daily basis. By writing what I mean is flexing your brain muscles and jotting down important points, thoughts, ideas, quotes or anything that come across your eyes or brain. This regular writing and accumulation of ideas will eventually give birth to hundred other ideas in the brain.
- Curate content on internet only to make sense! We are living in an era of internet and social media. No one’s personal or professional life is hidden from the world. From time to time give your wise opinion, suggestions, view or review about other people’s work on internet. Don’t be mean or harsh; just develop an image of giving wise opinion on various subjects so that people view you as an expert.
- Networking is very important! We are living in a world where no one person can rise single handedly. You will definitely need ten others to support you in your ascent. Networking with other filmmakers, directors, producers, actors, crew members, fans, audience, critics and so on is very crucial when you wish to become a successful filmmaker. It will be lot easier to take video production services from them.
